Posted October 04, 2018 08:18:49 Uber is planning to launch a new premium business car service on the ride-sharing service in New York City, sources told The Huffington WeChat.
The company has not yet announced the details of the service, which will be offered through the company’s flagship service, the Uber app, or its Uber Connect app, which is currently available in a handful of cities around the world.
The new service will be available for Uber drivers to use, as well as drivers of the company brand, sources said.
Uber’s premium business vehicle will be called Uber Premium Business, the company said.
The service will operate on a 24/7 basis, and will offer the same benefits and benefits as Uber Connect, Uber’s existing vehicle, but will offer additional features and capabilities, such as a trip planner and the ability to unlock cars with the press of a button, sources explained.
A ride to work or a meeting at home will be free with the service.
Uber has been working with car rental companies and leasing companies in the U.S. and Europe for years, and the company is now expanding into markets outside of its traditional home turf, sources added.
Uber currently operates in more than 60 countries, and plans to launch its service in more cities soon.
The Uber service will launch on the company app in New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Rhode Island, according to the company.
